It's official!
In 2023, the International Society for the Study of Self-Injury will host our annual conference in person in Vienna ✨
When?
21st - 23rd June, 2023
On the 21st, we will host pre-conference and networking events. Check out what's in store here.
The conference itself will run across the 22nd and 23rd, finishing with the Annual General Meeting, which all members are encouraged to attend.

Where?
Medical University of Vienna
Situated in the 9th District, the Medical University sits nearby the historic city centre. With affordable and well-connected public transport, you'll have plenty of opportunity to explore the sites during your stay for the ISSS conference. The conference venue can easily be reached with the Underground U6 (Stop: Michelbeuern/AKH) or the Tram #5 or #43. See below for suggestions for accommodation.

Registration Costs?
Registration costs depend on your membership status and organisational role. Members are site members with an active membership subscription. All costs are listed in Euros, we recommend using Google's currency convertor to work out the cost in your currency. Information on how to make payment will be made available in the new year.

Hotel Boltzmann
Within walking distance to the venue, this is one of the closest hotels with good service and rooms.

Motel One
This is a large German hotel chain offering several locations in Vienna. Rooms are quite cheap - no-frills but tidy. The one at Wien Westbahnhof is directly situated at the Underground U6 making it super easy to get the the venue in about 10 minutes.

25 Hours
Fashionable, with a very nice rooftop bar and directly situated next to the Museumsquartier and the 7th District (the place to be at night), this option is 20-30 minutes' walk from the venue or a 15 minute tram ride.
